그녀들은 왜 그곳을 떠났을까?

○ 개요 : 예술공간 이아 인큐베이팅 프로그램 ‘예술치유콜렉티브 이아로(路)’ 오픈스튜디오

○ 내용 : 예술공간 이아 4층 창작스튜디오 2에서 작업을 하고 있는 백수연은 ‘예술치유콜렉티브 이아로(路)’의 키워드인 ‘치유’를 제주 건국신화의 씨앗이 된 벽랑도에서 온 세 여인을 찾아 떠나는 여정에서 찾으려 하며, 그 작업 전체 과정을 관람객들과 공유하고자 한다. 인간이 입은 상처의 근원을 ‘제주의 어머니들’ 그 ‘뿌리’를 찾는 여정을 통해, 오히려 인간이 무분별하게 해친 자연과 환경에 대해 더 깊이 애도의 마음을 느끼는 과정을 작업실 공개와 라이브드로잉을 통해 관람객들과 함께 하려 한다.

2021년 7월 ~ 11월 동안 매 달 15일 스튜디오를 개방하며, 그 15일 중 매 주 토, 일 3시 작업 영상과 함께하는 라이브드로잉을 펼친다.

○ 7월 오픈스튜디오 운영기간 : 2021년 7월 15일 ~ 29일

○ 장소 : 예술공간 이아 4층 창작스튜디오 Studio 2

○ 시간 : 화~일 11:30분~18시

○ 참가자 : 남녀노소 모두 참여가능. 예술가들 중 영상 작업 앞에서 자신의 작업을 하고 싶은 사람(예술가, 음악가, 구음, 시인, 기타리스트, 행위예술가, 시각 예술가 등)

○ 백수연의 라이브드로잉1 운영 일정

- 2021년 7월 17일~18일 / 24일~25일 / 토, 일요일 오후 3시

○ 참여방식

- 스튜디오 입장은 1명씩 입장하며 1인당 10분~15분 정도 작업을 감상할 수 있습니다.

다음 관람객을 위해 나왔다가 다시 들어가셔도 됩니다. 라이브드로잉 관람을 원하시면 구글폼 신청서를 작성해 주세요.

Sooyeoun Baek’s Live drawing 1st

Why have they left their land?

Sooyeoun Baek is one of residence artists in Art Space IAa in Jeju Island. She is going to get an open studio while she is working in here for sharing her theme as well as IAa’s. Art Space IAa has great wishful thinking for public to heal our sorrow because of COVID-19. Sooyeoun Baek searches it that she is looking for women who are the first mothers in Jeju. With the myth, she wants to realize how natural environment was damaged by human. Obviously, human should think deeply about curing outside of nature like tree, rock, sea... first. She hopes to share whole her journey with public and audiences.

She will open her studio 15 days a month from July to December in 2021. While the days opening, she will work some live drawing every weekend 3pm with her live drawing video through her journey. If the COVID-19 would be spread seriously, it will be changed or canceled.

○ Open studio for July from 15th to 29th in 2021

○ Event address is Studio 2, 4th floor

21 Jungang-ro 14-gil, Jeju-si, Jeju-do, Korea

○ Event time is from 11:30am to 6pm every Tuesday till Sunday

○ For opening, everyone and someone who wants to get collaboration with this work for instance, musician, oral sound, poet or poetess, performance artist, visual artist etc.

July 17th Sat ~ 18th Sun/ 24th Sat ~ 25th Sun Starting 3pm

Only one person can enter the studio then stay there 10min to 15min for next audience. You can come again if you want.
